COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Since our last communication, the government has eased some regulations and most parts of the country have entered level 3 of the 5 level risk-adjusted strategy from the 01st of June 2020.


The tourism sector is amongst the industries that have been asked to hold on a bit longer before opening up our gates. We and your Managing Agent, VRS, have decided to use this time to equip your Club Resorts with the necessary health and safety measures, as stipulated by TBCSA in their published COVID-19 Protocols for Tourism Industry Operations. We are hard at work ensuring that the amenities that make your home-away-from-home special to you, are provided and managed according to all the required protocols.


The MDC team believe that self-catering Club Resorts are perfect for social-distancing-friendly holidays.


Families can prepare their meals and enjoy each other’s company in the comfort of their own space and accommodation. The MDC team stands with other key tourism industry properties in regards to our hope that we will be allowed to reopen self-catering Club Resorts sooner, rather than later, and we remain committed to providing a safe and secure environment for Members and guests to return to.


While the fight against COVID-19 continues, you have something wonderful to look forward to – that much-anticipated downtime at your chosen home-away-from-home Resort.

What shall we liken this period to? It is like a farmer that wakes up each morning and heads out to his field to water a planted seed. He planted it, he nurtures it and he knows that a mighty tree is busy growing there, but right now, the tree is not visible to anyone else. Though the field remains bare, he knows that every drop of water, every weed removed and every bit of compost added is his investment in the fruit to come, that will bring nourishment and joy.

Maintaining the payment of your Management Fee is imperative for the up-keep and servicing of your Club Resorts.
These fees provide for the payment of the Resort levies, which serve to maintain, renew and refurbish your fantastic Club Resorts as you know them. These fees ensure that when you arrive for that all-important, treasured family holiday: your kids and/or grandkids have a fun and safe playground to climb, clamber and play on, that the pools are crystal clear and we are able to host an array of fun-filled entertainment days and activities. We'll ensure that your accommodation is comfortable, pristine and well-maintained and you won’t have to compromise on the quality of the cherished holiday experience you provide for your loved ones.

Lastly, this fee allows us to pay those whose hard work ensures that everything runs smoothly - from the time you drive through the main gate, check-in at Reception, where you are welcomed with warm smiles, to the point where you arrive at your spacious self-catering unit with joyful anticipation. Delight in knowing all of the housekeeping services are taken care of so you can indulge in some much-deserved relaxation; right up to, and including, that last sun-downer with a view on the eve of your return home.

We THANK YOU for paying your Management Fee so that once lockdown is lifted, you and your loved ones may fully bask in the pleasure of your Vacation Ownership.
